An Open Letter to our Supporters from our Executive Director…
I hope this letter finds you enjoying a great start to 2016 and that all of your New Year’s resolutions are still intact. As I have been connecting and reconnecting with many of you over these first 3 months of my time as Executive Director, I have sensed a real energy around people wanting to “dive deeper” and really get to the heart of what our organization is about.
I really can think of no better way for any of you to get a finger on the pulse of the National Inclusion Project and our partners than for you to attend our Power of Play Conference on April 11-12, 2016 at Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC. Over the years, we have had several of our supporters attend (not just practitioners and parents) and their level of understanding, confidence, and excitement about inclusion and our mission has grown exponentially. See what one of them had to say about her experience:
“Attending the Power of Play Conference was a powerful experience indeed! The first time I went, I was wondering if I would feel out of place. Funny thing, when I told a small group that I was a supporter, each and every one thanked me and shook my hand.”
“It was an amazing experience to meet and chat with people who ‘work in the trenches.’ I heard so many stories of inclusion, grateful parents, and how the training they received from the National Inclusion Project made such a difference.”
“I truly enjoyed observing some of the games and techniques demonstrated at the conference. Aron Hall is a wonderful presenter. He had us all in the palm of his hand. I could see how the kids have such a great time and learn so much.”
Need I say more? Would you consider joining us this year? Registration is open on our website and we have a great group hotel rate at the Sheraton (beside the Marriott where we have held the Gala). Come spend some quality time with the staff and Let’s ALL Play partners to learn what YOUR talent and resources make possible each and every year.
Looking forward to seeing you in April!
Nick Leisey
