For the 8th year in a row, we have an amazing group of local personalities paired up with dancers at the Arther Murray Dance Studio to showcase their talents in our Dancing Like the Stars competition.
Joel Brown from ABC11, Adrienne Core – former Miss North Carolina, Jennifer Floyd, Rhonda Keith from MyRDC28, Alison Lawrence, Bryan Mims from WRAL-TV, Joyce Martin Strand and Neema Wainaina will be learning and perfecting a dance throughout March and April that will earn your ‘votes’ and ultimately the win.
The winner is not the best dancer, but the dancer who raises the most funds for the National Inclusion Project ($1 Donation = 1 Vote)!
All proceeds from the event will go toward empowering recreational organizations (i.e. YMCAs, Parks & Rec, Girl Scouts, Kid Museums, Community Centers, etc) to include children with disabilities in ALL of their activities. Supporters and participants of the event will make it possible for children of ALL abilities to laugh, learn and play TOGETHER!
The main event will be held at the Southern Women’s Show on Saturday, April 25th at 4pm at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. Check out more information about the dancers and voting on the Dancing website.
